Rainwater Harvesting & Groundwater Recharge
Excessive extraction has lowered groundwater tables across many parts of India. Our rainwater harvesting and artificial-recharge systems collect, filter and direct rainwater into the ground – helping replenish aquifers, sustain borewells and reduce dependence on external water supply.
Artificial recharge is the planned augmentation of groundwater through works designed to increase the natural percolation of surface water into aquifers. Each system is sized appropriately – our engineers consider roof area, paved and open areas, rainfall, soil and aquifer conditions, application and occupancy to provide an appropriate, cost-effective design.
Recharge solutions we design & build
Recharge Wells / Shafts
Recharge borewells with filter media that carry filtered rainwater directly to deeper aquifers.
Percolation Wells & Pits
Percolation structures with graded filter media for large campuses and industrial sites.
Pre-cast RWH Modules
Pre-cast / modular recharge and storage units that can be combined to create an accurately sized system.
V-Wire Recharge Technology
V-wire screen technology for recharging existing and dried borewells through scientific techniques.
Direct Borewell Recharge
Filtered rooftop runoff routed into existing borewells to rejuvenate them and improve yield.
Redevelopment of Existing Structures
Revival and redevelopment of choked or poorly performing RWH recharge structures.
Benefits of rainwater harvesting
- Recharges and raises groundwater levels
- Rejuvenates dried and low-yield borewells
- Reduces stress on municipal water supply
- Reduces water charges – rainwater is free
- Soft, chlorine-free water for many uses
- Reduces flooding and water-logging on site
- Reduces topsoil loss
- Environmentally responsible water management
We have completed full-fledged rainwater-harvesting projects for reputed organisations including Parsvnath Developers Limited, Unitech Limited and Alcatel India Limited.
